From Southern California Freeways 91 or 10, take Interstate 215 north toward San Bernardino/Barstow. Take the "Mountain Resorts" interchange to Freeway 30 (NOT on to Barstow)
Exit at "Waterman Ave" (Crestline/Lake Arrowhead) From the off ramp, turn north (left) on to Waterman toward the mountains. Continue on Waterman Avenue (which is also State Highway 18 or Rim of the World Highway) right up the mountain. You will enjoy the 4-lane highway to Crestline. Then, continue on Highway 18 up the mountain as the road narrows to two lanes. When you pass the Cliffhanger Restaurant on your right, get into the left turn lane. Turn left onto Lake Gregory Drive and then immediately turn right onto Highway 189 to Twin Peaks. Wind up and around on Highway 189, through the woods and then past a few homes. Turn left on North Road (also known as Grandview). (This is the corner where you will see the "Pine Rose Cabins" on one corner and the "County Building" on the other.) Calvary Chapel is one mile from this intersection, on your right, at 101 Grandview. Park in the parking lot which is parallel to the street. The Sanctuary is down a few steps from this parking lot. CLAY meets in Room 5, but ask directions to Room 5 at the Sanctuary so that you don't wander off into the forest and we never see you again.... |
